Our Qualifications
Tom Ennis, President of Ennis Financial Services, has been providing financial advice to individuals and small business owners since 2003, after exiting a 16-year career on Wall Street.
Tom began his career on Wall Street in 1987, specializing in the fixed income side of the business with government-backed bonds such as collateralized mortgage obligations ("CMO's") , GNMA's ("Ginnie Mae's"), FNMA's ("Fannie Mae's") and FHLMC's ("Freddie Mac's").
In 1990, he decided to switch to the equity side of the business, working his way up from a junior analyst to Officer and Senior Securities Analyst, which culminated in him being awarded a prestigious third-place ranking in the 1994 Wall Street Journal All-Star Analysts Survey.
Tom obtained his MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA) from St. Peter's College.
In addition to his work experience and education, Tom has matriculated with the American College to further his financial education.
Tom Ennis is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Equity Services, Inc. and offers securities in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Tom holds insurance licenses in the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.
He is currently a member of The Board of Trustees in his neighborhood community in Lake Cushetunk Woods and also presently serves on the Social Committee, chairing many of the adult events such as Business Expos and wine tastings.
Tom lives in Whitehouse Station with his wife (Sue), two children (Courtney and Tim), and pet shih tzu (Sammy) and his hobbies include running, cycling and light weight training.
